One of the most modern farms that make up part of the Agri-Growers Limited group is Sawler Gardens Ltd. in Berwick, NS. Sawler Gardens grow fresh carrots, onions, parsnips, rutabagas, beets and cut & peeled carrots.

APPLES AND PEARS We have two tree fruit producers who round out Agri-Growers Limited with apples and pears. Over 1000 acres of apples are harvested annually consisting mainly of McIntosh and Cortland varieties.

BROCCOLI Broccoli is packed in ice in 18 counts.

ONIONS Agri-Growers Limited produces over 4 million pounds of fresh onions packed 2, 5, 10, or 50 lb bags. An onion field located near Berwick, NS.

CARROTS Carrot production also includes jumbo sizes for export markets. 2 and 5 lb carrots packed with Sawler GarDens label. Custom private label is also available upon request. 12 oz, 1 lb, and 2 lb cut and peeled carrots available.

CABBAGE Cabbage packed in 50 lb bags ready for shipment. 50 lb cartons are also available upon request.

RUTABAGAS New crop rutabagas start approximately mid July and are ready for shipment to markets around Atlantic Canada.

CUCUMBERS Cucumber season starts in mid July and runs until late September. Packed in 24's.

GREEN ONIONS Green onions are packed in 48's and iced. The season runs from mid July until mid September.

POTATOES The Nova Scotia early potato crop begins in mid July and runs until mid September with round white Superior variety being the predominate choice. Potatoes are packed in 5, 10, 20, and 50 lb bags.

ZUCCHINI Zucchini - production of this popular squash begins in July and runs until the end of September. Packed in 25 lb cartons.

PUMPKINS Agri-Growers ships large quantities of pumpkins throughout Atlantic Canada packed primarily in large cardboard bins for ease of handling. A colorful crop of pumpkins awaits harvest in October.
